It is spread 97 sq. km and is the first national park in Kerala. It is a protected area and divided into three regions namely the core area, the buffer area, and the tourism area. Here you can see the flowers of Cherry blossom trees that flower twice a year. Location: It is 13km away from Munnar.

Famous for: The Mattupetty dam (1700 meters above sea level), a major source of electricity lies in the valleys of Munnar. It is a storage concrete gravity dam constructed to conserve water and generate power. The water remains the same throughout the year here. That’s why it has become a home to various animal and bird species. And the most scenic panorama is the reflection of tea gardens in the still water of Mattupetty dam. 4. Trek to Kannan Devan Hills let you see the Idukki dam, the highest arch dam in Asia.
